SJ PIANO TUNER · ERIC BARLAAN
Based in San Jose.
Ready to travel.
Eric Barlaan welcomes piano tuning inquiries from San Jose, the surrounding Bay Area, and farther away when you cover the agreed travel costs.
South Bay and nearby cities
Requests are welcome from San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Milpitas, Mountain View, and Palo Alto. Share your location to discuss scheduling and travel rather than assuming a fixed service radius.
Farther away? Start with your location.
Distance alone does not rule out a visit. Send your city or ZIP code, your preferred timing, and a little about the piano. Eric will discuss whether the visit fits the schedule and what travel costs you would cover.
Agree on the complete cost before booking
The service price and travel costs are discussed together before an appointment is confirmed. Ask what is included in the quote, and mention access or parking requirements. This website does not set a mileage rate or promise a particular appointment time.
What to include in your inquiry
- Your city or ZIP code and preferred dates.
- Whether the piano is an acoustic upright or grand.
- Brand, last tuning date, and concerns, if known.
- A photo if you are unsure of the model or type.
